We are located just 10 minutes south of North Platte, Nebraska, on the edge of the Sandhills Prairie.  The city of North Platte is located at the confluence of the North and South Platte Rivers, and the entire area is steeped in the rich history of the old west.

The Platte Valley is well known for its abundance of waterfowl; thus, it is no surprise that some of the best hunting in the state of Nebraska is found in this area.  We are priviledged to have access to hundreds of acres of farmland, prairie, river bottom, stream, lake, and woodland areas for hunting and training purposes.

Our dogs hunt continuously from September 1st (at the opening of Dove Season) until January 31st, when Goose Season closes.

RON GREEN DVM

Dr. Green is originally from Gordon, Nebraska and is a graduate of Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.  Ron Specializes in small animal medicine and has been practicing for over 25 years.  He has been very active in obedience and field events since 1975.

Ron was an active member of the Twin Forks Dog Obedience Club in Grand Forks, North Dakota for 5 years.  While there, he earned several American and Canadian Obedience Titles with his Labradors.  Here in North Platte, Ron was one of the founding fathers of the Platte River Hunting Retriever Club.  He has been an officer with the club since its inception and trained the Club's first two Hunting Retriever Champions.  Ron has raised Labrador Retrievers for over 10 years.

LIBBY MILROY

Libby is originally from Scottsdale, Arizona and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska.  She has spent all of her life surrounded by dogs.  She is also an active member of the Platte River Hunting Retriever Club.
